Formation Leaders

LAURA ACCETTULLO

CCMA Board Member

Laura is Executive Director, Elementary Program Level II and Level III Catechist, and Sacramental Program Coordinator at John XXIII Montessori Children’s Center in Front Royal, VA. A Montessori child herself, she and her husband, Mark, incorporated Montessori principles in the home education of their nine children. Since being introduced to the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program in 2000, Laura has received CGS certification in Levels I, II, III, and Infant-Toddler, and is additionally recognized as a CGS National Formation Leader.

Cecilia Drabbant

Cecilia is the Toddler Directress at Renaissance Montessori School in Nokesville, VA. Cecilia holds an Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) diploma in Assistants to Infancy (0-3), as well as the AMI certificate in Montessori Core Principles. She also has an Architecture degree from Universitas Katolik Parahyangan, Bandung, Indonesia, and completed Emmanuel School of Mission in Rome, Italy. Since being introduced to the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd in 2012, Cecilia has received CGS certification in Levels I, II, III, and is in progress with the Infant-Toddler Seminal course. Additionally, she is recognized by CGS USA as a Level 1 Formation Leader.

MAGGIE RADZIK

Maggie has been an AMI Montessori certified teacher at the Assistant to Infancy (0-3), Primary (3-6), and Elementary (6-12) levels for over twenty-five years, and has a great passion for the Montessori approach to human development. She has been a certified Formation Leader with the National Association of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd at Level I for over ten years, and is working toward completing her Level II Formation Leader credential.

Jennifer Ashton

Jen holds an AMI diploma at the Primary (3-6) level, and is CGS USA certified in all four levels of Catechesis. A wife, mother, and teacher, she continues to be formed by the principles of Maria Montessori and Sophia Cavelletti through the Association Montessori International and the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Jennifer is a Level 1 Formation Leader. She loves sharing these principles with other adults, believing it strengthens their relationship between God and the children in their lives. She resides in Manassas with her husband, Philip and son Max, and their two dogs Anne and Jake.

Heather Hambleton

CCMA Board Member

Heather Hambleton is grateful on a daily basis that she was introduced to Maria Montessori’s insights and the Catechesis of the Good Sheperd, and that she has been able to share the Atrium with her four children. Heather has completed several levels of CGS Formation and is excited to share this work with other families.

Sean Garvey

CCMA Board Member

Sean has been a Montessori parent since 2002, and is a founding Board member of Renaissance Montessori School.  Besides helping RMS grow and develop, over the last almost two decades Sean has helped schools across the country, from Texas to Minnesota to Virginia, embrace the fullness of CGS in their Montessori environments, and helped spread the richness that is the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.
